The making of this PowerPoint presentation was exciting as I had previously only made the traditional slides. I was unaware that PowerPoints could be interactive and found designing this an opportunity to extend my own learning.

As you can see the advantages out weight the challenges but I am sure there will be other points that I have not yet considered.
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteI like your post about PowerPoint. I like how you have subtitled under the headings "advantages and challenges". Sometimes the word "disadvantages" can reflect a negative view however a 'challenge' is something that we can all overcome. Good job!
Have a nice day,
Bridie
Hi Deb
ReplyDeleteHow would you use PowerPoint in your own classroom and teaching context to promote learning?
Michelle
Hi Bridie
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. In our classroom we are aiming to have a positive approach so there fore using the term disadvantage does give a negative feeling.
Thank you
Hi Michelle
ReplyDeletePowerpoint could be used as a way for students to present an assessment piece in the middle to upper classes. It can be used as an interactive tool to help increase their understanding of the concept being taught.
In the early years at has the potential to add the elements of movement and colour to a lesson. at this age children love animation and colour. having these elements will help to engage them in the topic being taught.
Thank you
